The Daleville Area Amateur Radio Service operated a special event station utilizing the call sign K4D during the 24 hour period on December 22, 2024 to commemorate the Dale County Alabama USA Bicentennial Celebration.
We operated on 10, 20, 40, and 80 meters on SSB as well as FT8 utilizing the call sign K4D.

Dale County is located in southeast Alabama which is in the southeast section of the United States of America.
Dale County is home to the municipalities of Daleville (former county seat), Newton (former county seat), Ozark (current county seat), Pinckard, Midland City, Napier Field, Grimes, Dothan (also located in Houston County), Enterprise (also located in Coffee County), Ariton, Level Plains, and Clayhatchee. Dale county is also home to several unincorporated communities.
The Home of U S Army Aviation, Fort Novosel, is also located in Dale County with it’s main gate located at the north edge of the City of Daleville.
