Daleville Area Hamfest 2025 Sponsored by Buffalo Rock!

The Daleville Area Hamfest Sponsored by Buffalo Rock is set for Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 0800-1200 Central. 

VE testing sessions will begin at 1000 under the large tent.   Please visit the ARRL website to ensure you have everything squared away for the exam such as knowing your FRN, ID, and fees. 

There is no admission charge to attend the hamfest!  

There is no vendor fee.

We will have door prizes.

There will be a food vendor on site.  

Beverages from Buffalo Rock will be available free of charge while they last thanks to Buffalo Rock for sponsoring the event!

The event will be held at the field at Culpepper Park located on Daleville Avenue in Daleville, Alabama.  

if you’re interested in being a vendor, please contact us on our contact page.   There are no vendor fees, but you will be responsible for your own table, chairs, and tent.   

The Daleville Area Hamfest for 2023 is in the books.   

We had approximately 125 visitors.   Vendors and visitors traveled from north Georgia, Mississippi, Florida, and all across Alabama.   

There was representation of ARRL  The National Association for Amateur Radio leadership from the Alabama and Florida section.   

Thanks to the Enterprise Amateur Radio Society ARRL Volunteer Examiner team, we have two newly licensed technicians and a third licensed amateur extra!   CONGRATULATIONS!!!   The newly licensed amateur radio operators were provided a new, still in the box, handheld radio by a Daleville Area Amateur Radio Service member.   

Thank you to the Geneva Amateur Radio Society for allowing use of their repeater for the event.  

Thank you to the Wiregrass Amateur Radio Club and other Area amateur radio clubs for helping to spread the word about the event. 

Thank you to the crew with A&B's Hit N Run for providing delicious food with the food truck.
